Anyone wishing to protect the appearance of our neighborhood, and be sure changes are within the guidelines, is encouraged to volunteer. Once a new Board is elected, a new Architectural Review Committee can be appointed by the Board. Sentry will be sending out mailings regarding the meeting and elections. Anyone interested in volunteering to possibly be elected to serve on the Board should plan to attend the annual meeting. In January Eagle Point will hold its annual meeting and a new Board will be elected. Otherwise, Eagle Pointe’s finances are in great shape! Those that owe more than a years’ worth of assessments and do not reach out to Sentry to make arrangements to work things out will have a lien process start. We are owed more than $50,000 in overdue assessments. A motion was approved to waive late fees and interest charges for properties that are behind on their assessments so long as those that are behind reach out to make arrangements to get caught up.The Board did not receive the bids in time for an educated decision to be made during this meeting. For example we know the cost of our landscaping will increase when we change landscapers. Any needed changes can be made at any time. The budget has been approved for 2022.Here is some of what is going on with Eagle Pointe. There is an instructional document on the Sentry page to assist. Be sure to go to Sentry's site and get your email associated with your account to be sure you receive emails about Eagle Pointe. There were a couple of emails sent as well. For the mailings, all Sentry could do was confirm something was sent to a particular address. In order to make an amendment to change anything in our Documents, such as allowing a virtual meeting for our Annual meeting, we would need 2/3 of Eagle Pointe to vote. The Board will get Sentry to post a couple of more signs prior to meetings instead of the minimum of one at the main entrance. The Board can call a meeting to appoint anyone wanting to serve on the Board or the ARC.

Anyone that did not receive their Assessment booklets should contact Sentry. We also learned some people have not received their Assessment coupon booklets. We learned that many people did not receive the mailing about the annual meeting. We know it was during a pandemic, but our Documents require an in person meeting for the Annual meeting with the vote. We thank the few that attended and contributed to the conversation. We could really use a full Board to help with decision making.Įagle Pointe also needs an Architectural Review Committee. There is an open spot on the Board, and another potential opening as one Board member is looking to give someone else a chance. Since we could not call the meeting, there was no vote, and the existing Board has rolled over into another term. The quorum requirement for the Annual meeting is 165 households being represented. In order hold the Annual meeting and have a vote for the three Board members, we need a quorum.
